One of the House of Cards fics I wrote for Yuletide last year, A Terrible and Splendid Trust, has been getting an awful lot of hits and kudos recently. I figured that was due to the release of S3 of HoC (which I haven't watched yet, so no spoilers, please!), and maybe it is... but I Googled it, as you do, to see if it had also been rec'd somewhere

Boy, that's annoying. I clicked over assuming it would be a typical Vulture thing--ie making fun of the thing but also liking the same thing at the same time--but, no, that just seems to be taking the piss, as you say. How gross. :(

They're the style section of New York magazine, or at least related to it; I think the Fug Girls started out posting there? Or posted there as correspondents for a while? Usually it's some mix of irony, ridicule, and genuine enthusiasm, so I was surprised to see ridicule kind of win out for this one.
