Who would have believed, back in 2004 when George W. Bush used the "threat" of same sex marriage as a wedge issue to get conservative voters out to the polls in droves, that we would ever see what we are seeing today?

Between this and the Obamacare decision yesterday... wow.

I know. I felt the same way. It helps to mitigate the truly vile hatred coming from the far-right in light of the decision.

I honestly never expected this to happen in my lifetime. Not at all. It's astounding to me. To celebrate, we went to city hall and got a copy of our marriage certificate and plan to renew our vows on our legal anniversary. Not sure when or where, but it just seems like the right thing to do.
