So far today I have de-filed a bunch of stuff to burn later, there's washing in the machine and water filling the tank. Once the washing and water are done I shall potter down to the bike shop and see how things go from there.
I alas spent 08:30 - 15:00 guarding the ambulance / collecting money outside Tesco (£232.23 of shiny shiny coppers). We also had one casualty - a policeman who (while setting up the car theft awareness display opposite the war memorial to us) cut his finger. It was very entertaining and he wasn't bullied in anyway by his work colleagues.
I am now home (having tucked the ambulance up for the night and counted the many many pennies), have put the second load of washing on (just in time for it to get too cold and dark to bother putting the moist clothes outside) and am wishing very much that I was a little bit stronger as I am trying my best to get rid of all of my surplus car parts (though I will admit that many "useful" bits have been hidden in the attic) that have been living in the conservatory until now.
Tomorrow I repeat the above, though perhaps without the policemen. But with more wishing of strongness.
Sometimes life is too practical to be rock and roll.
