Absolutely precious and haunting....Moved me to tears.....

I got that Ennis had died and he was waiting for Jack to find him, even if Jack died first.....Then all the people they loved will die too and will go there to visit them and then they will to go to Heaven or some other place, leaving Ennis and Jack always there in that special new Brokeback, inside the trailer where Ennis spent all his life waiting for the death to come and get him.

I don't think, because of the darkness, that that trailer is the Heaven, but neither the Hell....I think our boys are trapped in a timeless place, different to everything we know....a magic version of a mountain where they used to hide from the rest of the world...just like they are doing now....always young, always in love.....

Damn, Jimmy, breathtaking little story. THANK YOU!!

Lots of love and big hugs.

Tammy.

oh hey! glad this one moved you! the tears... awww... that's such a compliment to hear, when a story does that to a reader, so thank you. what you wrote is wonderful, that's how i saw it after i was through. yes, their own special place to be *for a while* so they could catch up on all those lost years, where they can all be together, being able to love and be who they are, without fear. :D

:D on a somewhat related note, i'd love a 1:12 scale miniature model of the trailer from the movie, or maybe a dollhouse of the twist family ranch. :D

You´re unbelievable, so darkly romantic - I love how their own memory and reality shift around them ... like they´re been waiting for a long time, yet no time ...will stay where they are for eternity and for the wink of an eye ... have known each other for a long time, and yet didn´t know who they were waiting for till they met again on a slow night in the Twin Keys Lounge.

"my world," explained ennis, "is not like yours. if you want, i can take you back." (...) ennis had read his mind. "we have moths of all kinds, and on very quiet nights, you can hear the turning of the worms." he turned his head away, ashamed at the thought. "i did not want to tell you before you came here," he said, wanting to cry, but this was a world where tears were naught.

The moths and the worms were sweeeeet. It was like "is that good enough for you, will you put up with the little shortcomings of my world to stay with me?"

by leaning back on the trailer, jack felt the cold once more. "brrrrr," he shivered, wondering what happened to his coat. he ( ... )

you're so great. thanks for your support. :D and i've only read the first paragraph. :D

i promise that i didn't think of TWINKIES lounge. i meant two keys, as in two keys for the same lock to be opened. :D

ma twist is coming with the cherry cake. ennis couldn't have it then, but he can have it now. :D

LOL on the service society. it's true though. omg. i found out i wrote a poem about that event. it's in the slash thread somewhere... there it is.

Nooo - I read the poem! It was so sweet.

And Ma Twist ... of course she brings the cherry cake. They´ll have a really nice day.

TWINKIES lounge ... sounds like a very distinguished hangout to me.

Whatever you write I know it is going to be good but you really excelled yourself with this one - the ethereal feel to it was just magical.

Thank you
