eeh, crookedest.. it's probably got more typos than a sixth grade typing class in elementary school. i reread a chapter a while ago and frowned half the time, lol. but still... thank thank thank you. :-*
rupture and burst! yes, this is the one that should have gone BEFORE that one. :D i guess they're younger here, but not really, since bobby's feet are adult sized already. :D thanks!
"look what i got," whispered jack - oh cute ... he´s got a shiny new toy!! "so new it could sing" ... he´s Jack.
"do the fish really come right up to your fingers?" *Ennis*
jack said it was true, that dragging a fingertip across the surface of the pond made them think it was food. You´re such a well of wisdom - is that true?? Sounds plausible.
I just love these short things from you ... they´ve kind of a "as is" feel to them, no high drama, no big soul searching, only a nod and a memory of tears and an unexpected kiss. Yeah this will be so great, Ennis, you know it.
:D :D "ignorant straight girl" got me to flex my typing fingers again, LOL. curious straight girl more like it, but yeah. thank you.... i pictured the whole scene at the trailhead from the movie, and wondered how many times they did that, had stressful goodbyes before jack finally broke down. i hoped that he wouldn't give up so soon, so this is related to that, at least their voices. jack seemed so over it, so tired and old when ennis told him he might not make until november. i tried to put that here, a sort of "yeah whatever" attitude, like, either you'll do it, or you wont. maybe ennis sensed that jack was getting bored, or at least fed up with his wishy washy attitude
