- Primeval is AWESOME. "Awesome" here is a word which means "really bad." But still awesome!
- SGA is awesome, too. "Awesome" here is a word which means "the characters get trapped in things a lot, facing imminent doom." All you SGA people, why did you never make me to understand how often they get trapped in things?! In jumpers in space gates, in jumpers at the bottom of the ocean, in drilling platforms at the bottom of the ocean, in abandoned mines.... I <3 trapped-in-things stories.
- There's this procedural I've been watching. It follows a couple of cops as they solve crimes and try to negotiate their relationship, both professional and personal. And ok, alright, ALRIGHT, it's a cartoon and it's Disney. It's called Fillmore. It's set in a big city middle school, where the crime unit safety patrol investigates mysteries about stolen mascots and food fights in the cafeteria. The mayor principal is a hardass, the police chief head safety patrol officer is gruff but lovable, and everybody is addicted to coffee hot cocoa. It's really cute, and it appeals to my sense of... what's the word. Where everything is a parody, down to the smallest details. What's the word for that. They did an episode about fandom and it squicked me a little, but in a cute way. It was adorasquick.
- I've developed a thing for Todd Stashwick. I'm catching up on season two of The Riches and thinking, hey, that guy is really pretty amazing. He was the one who lost his head in Dark Angel 2.05 Boo. And then with the coupon in SPN 4.05 Monster Movie. Behold the Stashwickia.
- Speaking of Supernatural, how's this for damning with faint praise: It seems to hate me slightly less this season! Rock.
- Slings and Arrows is just a fantastic show. All shows should be this well written and well played. I have the hots for Anna. Because how can you not have the hots for Anna?
- Fringe is not great, and I dislike Grand Conspiracy Plots, but I'm watching anyway.
- I also dislike Fated Battles of Good and Evil, which is what's keeping me from being very enthusiastic about Carnivàle. carnivale_redux is a great resource, but I'm lagging behind several episodes.
- I like Simon Baker, but I'm pretty sure I don't like him enough to keep watching The Mentalist.
- Pushing Daisies continues to charm the technicolor pants off me.
- The Office is similarly brilliant.
- If there is a more alluring creature in the world than Stephen Fry's Jeeves, I don't know of it.
