I've had an itch to start writing some short stories. Three or four really strong SF/F short story concepts dropped on my brain last week, which would have been wonderful if I weren't needing to write a bajillion (estimate) things for school over the next three weeks. Why is time travel so appealing to me right now? I never cared much for it

Though you may not currently have the time required for in-depth writing and story blocking, you certainly can sneak moments in between papers to jot down ideas. They can be your little gold nuggets of joy. Visions of scenery, character development, plot devices, dialogue; all these things can be very useful for those long summer hours when you have more time.
