Why doesn't everyone take a deep breath and decide how to move on intead of trying to point fingers and say "Not my fault"

At this point who cares who's at fault and move on.

well yeah i've been saying it's not my fault because people have made up stupid lies about me that aren't true and blaming and attacking me :(

because emotions aren't quite so neat & tidy. & we're human. for some of us it's not so much who was 'to blame' as it is who was involved. & loss of trust. & loss of feeling safe. & how long it was going on. & being told such things just weren't ok to talk about & now having the same issue blow up. & working to somehow be ok with finding out that what we knew was going on to some extent... was going on to such an extent. & dealing with people not sorry for having done those things. & dealing with people upset with us for being upset about the situation. & attacking us for that.
it'd be nice if it were so simple as 'just getting over it *now*.' that's not always how things work though.
