Hopefully the exercises and the brace help alot. Large plastic/metal bracers are quite expensive, but if it's more of a fabric based thing I believe those are rather affordable.

o-o I have to buy one of those strong elastic things for some of the exercises. To push and pull it. So far I've been doing a stand on tippy-toes one. I seriously can't even stand up on my right foot. >.< I noticed that, when I was biking. I used to stand up to power up the hill, but there was no strength behind my right ankle at all. So I had to walk up them.

o-o Yeah, I think he said I could get one that I could wear under my shoes. Glad this is a three paycheck month, though. Unforseen expensives keep popping up out of nowhere.

Next time you're here, I can show you my pretty X-Rays.

Oh hey, now that you're full time you get some sort of medical coverage from ardene. See if that will cover the brace... I doubt it but it's worth a shot.

Hi there.... I came across your journal looking for stuff about peroneal tendon problems. I don't have any snapping, just a lot of pain. My tendons have been degenerating right under my nose. Ever since my third ankle sprain (2 months ago), I've been barely able to walk!

Like you, I'm hoping to strengthen the ankle and avoid surgery. Well... good luck. :) It's like watching paint dry, waiting for your body to heal, isn't it?
