That reminds me of the show the West Wing. The last two seasons are all about a presidential election and crap. There was a lot of just making sure people like the candidate.

That ad is just ridiculous. Stephen Harper is a conservative, I would never vote for the conservatives because, well if they had a majority power they could do some rather disturbing things. I seem to recall being told they were anti abortion (not that I care enough to confirm that)

I doubt I'll bother voting. Figuring out who is the lesser evil is just not worth the time it would entail in my opinion.

My main problem with the ad is that... it's not about bloody politics. o_o'

Eh, I think I'd just rather the greater evil not win. >.O And the greater evil is quite clear to me right now.

"Canada: We're better off with Harper"

AHAHAH. That line cracks me up. I'm just glad that most of our ads here aren't as nasty as the ones in the States. :S Eh, ads overall are sucky, but I hate the ones that take dirty jabs at other people.

Yeah, I don't really like attack ads either. They just make you feel... depressed. Like /all/ the politicians can't be trusted, not just the one being attacked.

What's the point of having children if you can't use them for gain? Progeny rhymes with money for a reason!

If you want to use your kids for your own benefit, fine. But don't wear a sweater and pretend to be a nice guy about it.

Show a 30 second video of you spanking the crap out of them and end it with 'Stephen Harper: Tough on crime.' or something.
