Note to self: Do not jump into bed in the dark.

I thought I was right next to the bed, last night, so I jumped onto it. >.< But I ended up landing... on the corner of the bed, with most of my weight on my knee. A very dumb, painful thing, that. >.O It's kinda puffy now. I think it's going to bruise pretty badly ( Read more... )

That happens far to often with beds and the bottom/tops of stairs at night. I wonder how our bodies can live for so long with getting all those bruises, pain in the butt!

I was never good in class when it came to speaking, I hated talking in front of anyone. D: I usually always got my work done first so they let me off the hook most of the time; got lucky there.

Knees are one of the lamest parts of the human body. Elbows too. So easy to smack really hard on things. >.<'

o_o Part of what makes it bad in the workshops is that the tables are re-arranged into a circle. So when you talk, everyone in the class stares. I... don't like it when people look at me.

Plus, the writer is there somewhere, but you don't know who it is. I'm worried that I'll hurt someone's feelings. (It's easier with written comments because I know I won't be there when the person reads it. >.> Cowardly? Perhaps.)

I find I speak up a lot more now than I ever did in my first year. I think I was too busy getting used to the environment and eventually accepting that is was not a hostile environment and I would not likely have my comments critisized except for the sake of discussion.

I'm quite amazed you get that high of a participation mark for not talking much, those must be quite some awesome comments you're writing :P

I spent four hours the other day commenting on three stories. I think most people spend five minutes on their comments, honestly. But for me it's really useful. I notice things that /I do/ that don't work in the process ( ... )
