I need a girl's help

As we all know, I'm not really all that girly, and thus I need help making girly decisions.

I have a semi-formal event this Saturday that calls for a semi-formal light-colored dress that I don't own.

Is there any girl here that is willing to spend a day with me sometime this week and help me find a dress?

For God's sake, I need serious help here

... EJ, my counterpart, is better at this stuff, but he's in Hawaii for training purposes... damn fruity cruise line boy.

EJ is a totally different person on his own. I remember working ticket sales a rennfest with him my first year working there. We would always ogle the cute guys together. :)

Wear a skirted suit. Or a long pastel floral gown with capped sleeves. Purples or greens would probably be best. Check out wally world, or even burlington coat factory. They have a huge formal section. That's about all I can offer. Target might even have something. Sorry I can't be of more help. Colours will also depend on the type of event as well as if it is day, evening or even indoors/outdoors.
