Cinnamon buns!

Yesterday (well, Saturday) was national cinnamon bun day in Sweden and I'd planned to actually join in on this one and bake some buns but never got round to going to get the proper ingredients so didn't. But I did today, and managed to overcome all obstacles and produce some rather tasty buns. They are huge and soft and not dry at all and with just

Sweden have much better sounding holidays than us.

oh, it's not a holiday as such. It's a promotional day meant to encourage the traditional Swedish baking and stuff. so no day off work or anything, just an additional excuse to go baking to your heqrts content :D

Apparently it was introduced in Sweden 5 or 6 years ago to promote traditional Swedish baking. I'd never heard about it before reading in the paper about it last week, but thought it was as good an excuse as any to bake some tasty stuff :D
