So about three weeks ago I submitted an application for a management position at another casino in Lake Charles (about 4 hours give or take from NOLA).  When I didn't hear anything I gave up.  Well, Tuesday while I was sleeping (I sleep during the day because I am working the grave shift Mon and Tues) I got a call from the F&B Director over there

Oh, that's AWESOME. Good for you. Moving up from within is excellent. That happened to me back when I worked for Eddie Bauer and they paid me to move too!

I also read your other post about the employee last night. I would've given them some attitude. I like to THINK I'm not power hungry, but when people don't respect my authority it pisses me off.
