You can always crash here in Houston! We have spare beds, too, not couches.

Thanks, Rachel! Hopefully if we do pass through Houston (not sure if we are taking I-40 to I-20 or I-10 straight through) we can stick it out and get the rest of the way. But if not, I already intended to call you for a resting stop!!! Even if we aren't crashing, maybe we can meet up for a bite to eat or something...

Sure thing. You have my number, right? I guess if you're driving 1-10 from San Antonio, sticking it out isn't too hard, but anything else would be crazy! Also, the stretch from San Antonio to New Orleans is like the most boring stretch of road I have ever had to drive. But you probably know that!

That is SO COOL!

If you guys were coming through like a week later, I could totally put you up. My dad is here through like Feb 2nd or 3rd, though.

Next time, woman. Next time.

Meanwhile, enjoy the fun road trip with your sister.

Awww, that would have been so fun! Bad timing...

We are thinking about stopping at Lake Havasu (sp?) so we can visit the London Bridge. I really want to see the Grand Canyon too. You anywhere near any of those hotspots? Maybe we can sight-see together or something?

Keep us in your prayers (both that we drive safely and that we don't murder one another!)

Nah, I'm like 6 hours away from the Grand Canyon and I think as much from Lake Havasu. With Dad here and by then it will be his last week... it would be rude of me to ditch him.

The prayers, though... you got 'em.

Well, I have no clue what route you're taking but if Colorado is along the way you'd be welcome to stay here.

I'm still working out the route, but I am def trying to see if we can manage to include a visit to you in the schedule.
