ok so i have finally given into peer pressure, and am now a member of facebook.  why, i still am not too sure.. except i like wis-CAHN-son.. and didn't really want to lose contact with him.   but i have a problem with this website in that

it's not that they are trying to reconnect.. it's more that they're putting me there.. and pertending they care, and i care. but, i don't.

for the most part I'd say that's right but

otherwise facebook is good medium to create party invitations and advertise. Lord knows I used it to whore out the 24 hour relay and you'd be surprized at how many people really do care but it's just been so long that starting a conversation with someone you haven't seen in years can be awkward

i don't think that starting a conversation with someone you haven't talked to in years could compare to starting a conversation with that random, half-naked hottie behind you at the *insert any place here*. at least you know that there was some common ground once, somewhere, and there's a pretty good chance *judging from past experience* that re-connect person is gonna be friendly... wouldn't you agree?
