A few weeks ago I washed my car and noticed the Cal decal was peeling off and looked ugly. I figured my car was ugly enough without that little touch of carelessness so I scraped it off with a putty knife

To be clear, I don't usually plan topics of discussion for social gatherings beforehand. However, I think tomorrow night's should be "automotive dignity".

I've had similar--although less wordy--discussions inside my head about getting an SLC license plate frame.

I am impressed with how much your driving has improved. I no longer feel the need to clutch the "oh shit" handle when you're behind the wheel.

Thanks for the compliment...hah, yeah, I spend a lot of time thinking about cars and driving while driving to work. It gets pretty boring, even if I'm listening to the radio. I think a lot about elderly drivers, also...you know, working next door to a nursing home.
