Shar, although it's hard, stay with him. When I did a co-op in a vet's office I saw so many animals put down without their owners there and they are scared and confused. It's hard, I know, but they really just go to sleep.

Anyway, whatever you do - he is loved and I'm sure he knows it. *hug*
