Friends Only
My Journal is friends only, except when I forget to protect a post, so I'm trying to date this entry long enough in the future so that it will stay at the top of my page for a good long while so that non-friends can contact me, request to be a friend, etc. Or maybe contact me to say I've won a drawing??

I don't often add a friend without already knowing them a little bit, I guess because I feel so self-protecting of some of the personal material I post. But I've seen your thoughtful commenting on Donna's page. I checked out your journal, but only a little bit because of my current time constraints. I found the creative coffins, etc way cool. I have been thinking a bit about green burial myself and about some sort of pre-planning before the need is immenant.
I'm going to add you as a friend and hopefully we'll get to know one another. Sometimes I'm particularly slow at commenting and replying, so please be patient with me.

My hesitation was/is, that I am sometimes guarded with what I share... and not having had time to get to 'know' you. For instance, being from Eugene too, what if you personally know someone I'm complaining about? Eek... (&*chuckle*)

Don't do drama either. Just the occasional venting, and usually only with those I've gotten to know who won't judge (me or the victim of the vent..).
I think we will do fine.
