Yes, they did warn us about maintenance but then had more "data base" problems as well.

Earaches are awful...I hope yours eases, H!

I love my rooibos tea.. but never had any kind of nectar in it. I dumped as much bird food as I could this evening.. wearing a hat, and heavy coat and gloves.. and STILL freezing. I did manage to get another suet brick out there too.. the birdies were not feeding this evening like they normally do.. I think they tried to find a roost early today.. since tonight will be SO COLD.

Yes, I am taking a hot water bottle to bed with me tonight for my ear. And I don't usually do pain killers, but I plan to set some on my bedside table, just in case.

I put a little sweetener in my rooibos tea. It is agave, from cactus. Yum.
I had a chickadee come check out the feeder late afternoon. I expect to have a flock tomorrow.

You to H. I am sitting here in my computer room, just out of the shower, in long johns, pajamas, robe, sweater and fluffy crocks. I took off the hat, gloves and heavy outer coat I wore to take the dogs out just now. They refused to do all of their business.. too cold!

Oop... coffee should be ready.. time for THAT!

I hope you get scads of little hungry ones when it gets light!

I look really scary. I have my PJs and fleecy bedjacket on, but then there are the mismatched seedy looking gloves with the fingers cut off. And the weird thing wrapped around my head to keep drafts from my ear, the cotton and plug were not enough. But I'm warm enough. : )
