I seem to be avoiding talking on the telephone and posting here a little. Not really though. I feel alternately very busybusy, and very passively engaged to offset the busybusy. I do not like being so hurried and clipped at LJ, but this too will pass ( Read more... )

Real life gets in the way sometimes, doesn't it :-) The weather is glorious today so I shall be out and about rather than sat at the computer. Have a great day! :-)

Thanks gwendraith. I did have a good day, full of real life. I do like to include LJ in real life doings, but even the telephone has been hard to include lately. I haven't even been getting calls to my children and close friends in the loop. It seems I have been overly busy, or sticking my head in a book or a movie to escape the busy ( ... )

A home project is always good to focus the mind and take up time :-) The room sounds like it will be wonderful and improved for when you get back :-) I have just had a clear out myself but my possessions are fairly few as I've moved so many times and clear out every time. Now I have a very small ground floor flat and I can't bear it cluttered so the local charity shops do well out of me :-)

Sorry to hear you've been ill, and your daughter has been in hospital. I trust everyone is now good?

It was kind of a lingering thing for me, and now I've other ailments bothering me, but that debilitating bit is gone. Thank heavens!
My daughter seems to be all better, just tired from work and pregnancy, but kidney infection healed.

Thanks Liz. I miss you all. It is amazing what a part of my life the LJ gang has become. I like the frequent interaction, even though I'm one of the poky ones...

I won't be too hard on myself, but I miss you friends. Drat, just when I reappear for a day you'll be gone... then I'll be sort of incommunicado after Friday for about a week, unless there is easy computer access at the place I'll be staying on the Washington (yes, cold) coast with friends Ken and Beth. These are the folks I went to Victoria with last year on spring break. It's one of our annual sojourns together, spring break at one of their roving timeshare locations.

Well take it easy and have a wonderful time with your visitors and "see you" when we both "get back."
