Today, I woke bright and reasonably early (by my standards) to catch England v. Paraguay. You know, I don't really go for sports in the regular season, but there's something very alluring about the global aspect. Maybe it's the camaraderie, maybe it's the competition. There's spirit in it. National pride! Potentially lofty goals! Metaphor
