in order... of course - just let us know what dates are good for you. Mondays tend to be bad for me as we have babygroup that day. Sat 24th May. doors open at 6pm. I think I still need to mug you for tix monnee... Its at Shepherds Bush Empire - suggest travelling up with Tex and we'll arrange a time/place to meet nearer the time. She's due May 12th although she's engaged already so anytime really. Huw posted a status thingy tonight suggesting nothing yet... your main page you get once you sign in should give everyones status thingy. Click on the word facebook in the top left corner to get this overall page if you lose it. Inbox is personal mail and if you go onto a persons profile and find their wall you can ping someone that way although these are public.
Well, it depends where the song originally came from. If you obtained it originally from a CD, or a file-sharing site for instance, you should just be able to copy the file over to the MP3 player's folder using Windows Explorer, and he player should recognise the new song straight away and be able to play it.
On the other hand, if you purchased the song through iTunes music store, then most MP3 players won't recognise it because unfortunately the file isn't an MP3. iTunes sell you music in the form of a file called M4P, and you'll need to change it into an MP3... I do this by burning the files onto a blank CD, then importing them back into iTunes. Which works, but it's a pain because it takes a while to do and it wastes blank CDs, not to mention minutely reducing the sound quality of the song. You may also have to re-enter the track titles by hand into iTunes, too. But it does work. I'm afraid the best advise is just don't buy songs from iTunes music store, because they're evil.
...buy on itunes, burn to cd via itunes. Shut itunes down, re-download the files via Mediaplayer. Find on C:drive, right click on, should be the option somewhere to amend file to mp3.
Ha Ha! I'm practising with a borrowed Wii, so should be able to beat him sooner or later! He was better at bowling, but I am MUCH improved... still Robert thrashed his Dad at it though, would give both me and Gary a run for our money (and probably end up walking away with it!). Next weekend off is in two weeks, but I have Rob the whole weekend, still we could find time for a tournament...I'd have to keep hold of the boy's winnings... As Di said, probably a good idea to arrange to go to the Terrorvision gig together, but we still have a few weeks to sort it. As for Facebook, do what Di said! If you still have trouble I'll show you next time I'm around.
Was toying with coming up to Boringjoke Friday nite, picking up sewing machine, heading to harlow (hippy's permission allowing) on saturday, dropping off sewing machine, accompanying hippy et al into "Town" for the gig, back to Harlow for Saturday nite, then back to Notts on Sunday (hopefully remembering to pick up sewing machine and take with me back to notts on Sunday).
Any issues with the above, speak now or expect a bacardid-up fash on your sofa, refusing to move.
i'm fine with this. You do have the sofa though as the spare room has already been booked. I'll make sure we have enough bacardi in... and brekkie... remember you can get to notts without going through central. Involves a couple of changes but...
