Zachariah had his 8 month developmental check today (only got told yesterday that this would be happening - cue cleaning of house and lots of panicking by me!) and am very pleased to report that he passed with flying colours. His height and weight are in the 75th percentile and she was amazed that he can take a few steps on his own and re-balance

I think musical instruments and cornflakes is the direction I should have taken all those years ago, but then it's so easy to say that with hindsight.

True - but then what precisly would you have done with the cornflakes when they got old and mouldy?
