I have seen it and I agree with you that Zexion might be the most likely culprit. I don't know what he exactly plans, but his action is most likely to provoke Mello. He told me he wants to get rid of both Mello and the Death Note, so yes, he might prove to be a source of conflict.

It was a mere feeling though.

I'd appreciate taking action as well, but I don't really think that "taking him out" is such a nice way to do things.
