Even though we couldn't make it up north for Thanksgiving, we made so much food and we're still eating leftovers! We cooked all day on Thursday and listened to the people's station, V 103, and they fucking played Tom Tom Club and also this really really good version of Cupid Shuffle with all of these guest emcees. I am going to try my best to come to GR next year for Thanksgiving and perhaps we can have another exciting mix tape swap/potluck?? I don't have a GRhouse anymore, and so someone else will have to be the host- and/or hostess-with-the-mostest, but I'll totally cook fo sho. I want to spend different holidays in alternating cities and that way every year will be totally new and different!

Do you know of anything that is happening for New Year's Eve? Or are you going to be eating mushroom gravy that night?

It was great! Most certainly some of the best and most satisfying Thanksgiving-style food I've had in a while. I wish that I could make a little sealed airtight sampler package of everything we ate and send it to you through the post!

We just finished off the very last bit of sweet potato casserole today for lunch.
