I had so many things to be in a bad mood about during my two holiday weeks away from home, but I managed to not be in a bad mood once. Not even when we were moving 300 pounds heavy and stinky things out of a house that Stevie got evicted from in the dark, while her angry ex-landlord stood scowling at us and watching us and we hadn't eaten in 36 hours (excluding daiquiris). Or driving without any sleep on slightly slippery roads 16 hours straight from NOLA to GR. Through Missouri, the most boring state to drive through ever (excepting maybe Indiana, maybe, and definitely the Texas panhandle, which isn't actually a state), it turns out. Yeah, I am proud of myself.
