I am :) hehehe I'm going to submit my apps before going and I'm only going to work for a few months before quitting and coming back to the US to hopefully start grad school. How shady, huh?

Haha! Considering the reputation at Nova, it may be the best thing.

I can't recommend our school, then, you don't get paid until the end of the next month. But if you're in the area, let's hang out!

Hey May,

I totally feel you on the grad school thing...My issue is coordinating recommendations from Japan for schools who don't allow online recommendations. And as far as the essays go...I pretty much ruled out any school that asked for a 10-page wrting sample (and there were quite a few of them) since I don't have any! It's not my fault if my profs in undergrad didn't make me do anything.

Anyway, things are ok in France, and I hope life is treating you well!

Hey Denise! I'm glad that things are going ok for you in France. Stay warm! What are you applying for? Depending on what you want to study in grad school, like in my case a foreign language, you can submit something else instead of a writing sample dating back to your undergrad years. For example, one school accepts a personal statement or pretty much anything in the target language as a writing sample. Luckily since I have to write two critical essays in French for one school anyway, I'm just going to send those for the other schools too. Best of luck to ya!!
