i realize this is probably expecting too much out of Sleepy Hollow, but whenever they do flashbacks, I have constantly this sort of low-level not-quite-rightness the way so many of their colonial leaders seem more or less interchangeable. whereas in reality, you've got jefferson, virgina gentry, and revere, boston artisan.
(is this because i am rather fond of the sons of liberty, burning shit down? MAYBE.)
on the other hand, it's been several weeks since anyone's spoken a language from the wrong century!
