Fun Day with Tokyo Visitors

Feb 06, 2013 16:09

In mid-October I had a fun day out with infiniteneeya, chibi_tenshi, and maetel9! Now I'm finally posting the pics derp

At the time I still owned Vampire Requiem so we did a triplet thing! I can almost never participate in twinning/tripleting since I don't have many prints, so it was extra fun.

We all met up and went to this healthy, natural-type restaurant that I can't remember the name of doh
I got a sandwich set.

Cutie loli ordering food, teehee~

Food time!

After we stuffed ourselves with healthy food, then it was time to go to the qpot cafe and eat junk! We had to wait a while but we just stood around and chatted and the time passed quickly.

Here's the cafe and food spam!

I got the Halloween special plate, I could not resist D:

The ghost is a champagne jelly/mousse thing with a cocoa cookie hat, to the right is pumpkin ice cream with a cocoa cookie bat, then there was a pumpkin shaped sugar cookie with black sesame cream underneath, and a chocolate macaron and chocolate heart.

The jelly thing had a (jello) bone inside! I didn't like the flavor all that much though.

There was an extra fee to have the decorated coffee... it's supposed to be a ghost.

There's a secret room in the middle that you can rent for 20,000 yen for 4 people and get some kind of ridiculous 5 course dessert meal. One day...

huehuehue

We left the cafe and stopped by the qpot store that's across the street, then out to Omotesando towards Harajuku and we started seeing tons of dogs dressed up for Halloween! As you can see, little dogs are overwhelming popular! There was some kind of doggie Halloween parade where you vote on which dog is cuter by giving them stickers or some shit, but anyway DOGGIESSS

Here is my VR outfit! I wanted to be weird with it, mostly because I don't have much black in my wardrobe so I couldn't go down that route, and I'd just finished making that ruff for my Halloween costume and wanted to use it!

We walked around Harajuku for a while and someone mentioned they wanted to see a store called Shop Cabaret. I didn't even know about the place but they carry all kinds of quirkly Harajuku brands. We had to trek pretty deep into the backstreets of Harajuku to find it but it was so worth it! They are having a special exhibition of Higuchi Yuko's artwork and she was even there in person!

They allowed pictures inside, woohoo!

Then it was time to make asses of ourselves and get on the carousel horse...

Art!

We made it on the shop's blog too!

We stayed there for a while since everyone was so nice, and then we went back to Harajuku proper for some purikura. I'm kind of bored with normal purikura so I like making it extra deformed with super huge eyes and strange facial expressions XD

We had a super fun day together! I hope I can hang out with you all again soon <3 If you would like me to take any pics down, let me know!
