Back in November I had another lolita meetup.
The palace at Akasaka is used as a state guesthouse and isn't open to the general public but one day in November they allowed visitors to check out the exterior and gardens! It looks a lot like a Versailles ripoff but was very pretty nonetheless.
The palace crew (some of us are looking elsewhere, there were a million people taking photos :P)
I decorated the hat myself! Dress is Millefleurs <3
The front gate was huge!!
hehe
We then moved on to the Waseda university campus for a lolita event. November is when most Japanese universities have their student run festivals where clubs show off their activities. We went to see a presentation by Waseda's lolita club, GLP (Gothic, Lolita, Punk) featuring Misako and some other guests.
Caption: What if all the cats disappeared from the Earth? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
The Waseda campus was packed!
A lot of lolitas came out for the presentation!
There was a fashion show of many styles with coordinated music and visuals but everyone walked so fast and it was dark so I only got a bunch of blurry shots.
There was also a kind of derpy but adorable 1 hour lolita drama video episode that the club made about a goth/punk girl and her sweet lolita friend and how the goth one was reluctant to make friends because she had some mommy and daddy issues but with the help of a teddy bear-turned-imaginary-friend she was able to open her heart to enjoy friendship <3 (I wish I knew where I could see it again)
Then after much ado came the Q&A with Misako and two other guests. From left to right they are the designer of Pina Sweet Collection, some person who wrote a book about lolitas whom I can't remember the name, and Misako.
After some really generic questions asked to Misako (which she kind of passive-aggressively said she gets asked ALLL the time), it was photo time! I don't know what she expects, I think people are afraid to ask her anything outside the box since she is so proper and might not want to answer.
Leyla and Danchelle were visiting from the Netherlands and they had just gone to see Kyary perform right before the event. Everyone was cooing at their outfits :D I really liked the VM outfit the author was wearing!
All of us freaks :D
Ni brought a copy of the book for the author to sign.
Don't look at my weird faces in the next few pics, I just wanted some more shots of the outfits from the fashion show.
Then we had cheap ass Italian food at Saizeriya!
My general rule is - if you take pictures of me without asking, I'm taking a photo of you! Take that ojisans!
Thanks?
And bonus pic- the next day Sapphira and I went to the MaruiOne KERA snap in matching outfits and later got in the magazine!
