I really miss having a desk.

One of the reasons I got a laptop was so that I wouldn't be shackled to the desk. lindensidhe took that to mean I didn't need a desk at all, so I'm stuck using my computer at the kitchen table every night

I DID NOT "take that to mean" anything. The deal was that if you got to have a laptop, we got to get rid of your monstrosity of a desk that we had no room for.
