I have not seen Nathan Bransford's latest posts. I will definitely check them out!

Thanks!

I want to do NaNoWriMo even though I can't OFFICIALLY do NaNoWriMo. I do have one story idea that I haven't started on yet, but what I'd really like to do is use the structuring and the goal-setting to finally make a dent in my WIP.

I like your preparation ideas, though! I need to do Step Four as well...having your own writing space makes such a difference, doesn't it?

This will be the first time for me.

As for step Four...Not only do I have 3 sons at home, a homedaycare with 3 under 2's, I also have my in-laws living with me. Those are full time. There are many other friends/visitors here almost ALWAYS. I guess that is how it is with teenagers.

Someone, is ALWAYS around. Always wanting to talk. Always asking for something. I have to barricade the bathroom so I can pee in peace!

Yes...my own writing space...is like a dream!

I generally try to write about 2,000 per day so I can be done by Thanksgiving (or at least be able to take those few days off). And we are making quick and easy meals this month - my husband and I are both doing NaNo.

We should meet up sometime for a write-in and/or TGIO (Thank goodness it's over) party.
