Any suggestions where I might find a Victorian type Caroling outfit for a guy???

Son is in Victorian Choir and needs outfit by end of September. I have found a couple different very costume type outfits for around $130

Some really expensive ones @ gentlemens emporium.

Anyone know of anywhere else I am missing?????

Umm . . . buy a pattern, material, and sew one? =)

I have no idea where you could find one other than that.

Well glad you got a laugh anyway. =) If I lived closer, I'd volunteer to sew it, but I don't have a dress dummy so it would be kind of hard to make without having him actually try it on during the process. =(

Ah thanks. =)
I think I am going to hit the thrift stores and see what I might be able to muster up that way. It would not be too hard to alter the pointed ends of a vest to make it victorian. Peg legging a pair of baggy pants shouldn't be too hard either.

If you know how to sew or someone who knows how to sew... there are GREAT patterns with Simplicity or McCalls at JoAnns.

Last year I got a Christmas card with the family dressed like this. They went to a photographer. Most offer this type of pic at Christmas. You could call around and ask where they got it...

Denims jeans are an all-time favorite of all. Now days as you can see the skinny and low slung one are in trend. Here is the time to flaunt out your sexy figure. You can experiment with colors like blue, black, brown or even grey is also a good option.
