Hooray for Thrift Stores!

I attempted one more time to hit the Thrift Shops in search of options for a Victorian Outfit.
Apparently if you are looking for a Victorian Men's outfit you should shop in the Women's Department at the Thrift Shops!

I found....
Pants: $5
Vest: $6 
Jacket: $8
Shoes: $10

Sweet! Add a top hat and white gloves from the costume store and there you go!

Very nice! Way to go!! And you certainly can't beat that price. It would have cost more than that in fabric etc. to make the outfit. I'll have to remember the thrift store idea next time I'm looking for costume stuff (son does a lot of plays) . . . that way I won't have to do a bunch of sewing! =D
