RE: No. 2: Try eating fruit or sugar-free candies. While sugar-free candies are going to taste funny at first, you'll get used to it. Fruit that isn't pre-packaged in heavy syrup is the best (like fresh fruit). Dried fruit is good too, but it can be just as calorie-packed as candy so watch out.
