ZOMG. I just watched Bizzare Foods on the Travel Channel and that was the one food that this guy absolutely DETESTED. (And this guy thinks worms are yummy, so this fruit has to be pretty bad)

Hey that's what my sister said too! But the one that he ate was fresh. There's probably a difference between the taste of the fruit when it's fresh rather than chilled and cut up into little pieces.

Have you ever tried starfruit? It tastes like a mushy apple and it's kinda sour. The seeds when they get in your mouth taste a little funny too.

My sister went to China and tried lots of stuff. She said she liked liechi berries the most. I tried it in juice form and it's pretty badass.
