Just thought I'd post an infrequent update, I'm trying to get better at this! After a very crazy couple of weeks of searching, and a visit last weekend, I seem to have finally found a place! Actually, there seem to be alot of places like that, though I have been looking at the Cambridge/Somerville area which might not technically be in the city proper. Most of the places I've looked at are 2-3 story houses converted into rental units, and lots have at least a little bit o' green out back.

For what its worth, I also found a Great Blue Heron, chilling in a random waterway near a subway station further along the red line. Whoot!
