It still has that same bittersweet quality, and I like that; I think that Diana x Meg is just one of those couples where it's got to be that way. It's awful, or bittersweet. The idea of /truly/ having them "happy" together, in a non-AU setting, just isn't plausible..

/I/ would love to see an actual resolved story, with them getting married, but that is..mostly wishful thinking, really. The inner-fangirl in me is losing her mind at the thought of a Diana/Meg wedding.

But, hm. I'm not sure. Perhaps death of some kind..I'm not really sure. I'm terribly with plotting off hand; an idea has to strike me, and then I run with it, but I fail at brain-storming things up. :\

as always, LOVED it. i especially liked the part where eleanor got a bit of a personality. i like this version of her - very blunt and perceptive. i also liked the continuity of the red bird/red coat... looks like eleanor's at least half-way there.

poor meg. i definitely buy diana's reaction, as she was most certainly not the marrying type. meg would have done better to get her caveman on: club diana over the head and drag her back to her cave/dungeon/flat/whatever the hell she keeps her concubines.

i'd like to see this eleanor explored a little more too, if ever you're in the mood.

Yeah, I feel like Eleanor is an author's dream come true in that she can go every which way you want so long as you keep it mild. I like her as a meddler in the affairs of others.

But yes, I've now decided to expand this and not only will there be some hitchin' going on, but also a heaping helping of girl on girl lovin' (in ze physical sense). Just gotta find the energy to do it.

Thanks for catching the coat thing; I'm a bit sad no one commented on the line lifted from Love Suicide, though. Originally Meg said she wished she were dead.

i saw that, i just didn't think to comment. because i don't think? i read it three times and each time expected either her or eleanor to follow up with something about meg lamenting.

i can't wait to read more. especially if it involves graphic sexin'. hurrrryyy!
