You gotta love it when a business class ticket eats up less frequent flyer miles than coach.

New York for a wedding (somewhat less exotic than Peru :). I'll be hanging out with friends and hoteling in Manhattan this time, though, so it'll be very fun!

NYC for K's wedding. Ticketing for that was proving dumb.

What airline? I'm assuming not Alaska.

Delta. I should have indicated that this was a snarky comment, though -- I was looking at double the usual miles for a coach FF ticket on AA, Delta and Northworst (I got too irritated to bother trying United!). So 50,000 coach vs. 45,000 for a biz class ticket on a Delta flight (which I love since they have a group trivia game on the SEA-JFK flights and I'm a nerd :). Even better, I got to dump some NW miles to get the flight.

A bit frivolous since the prices weren't that bad, but miles are getting so hard to use these days anyways. I was playing around with other options throughout the year on Delta, and they're all coming up at 50,000. Maybe they're making more of a distinction concerning cross-country flights, but it's still a trend I'm not looking forward to.
