Well, it official. The bill passed to begin drilling in Alaska's wildlife reserves for oil. What does this mean for our enviroment folks? Dude, the draft is completely VOLUNTARY. That was already mentioned several times. I think you should research your facts before throwing random shit down people's throats.

How do you know this stuff is because of Bush? There's no way in hell you can say that Kerry would've been better because no one will ever know. If he plans to run next term, we will see but until then, Bush is president.

Either way, I thought you didn't care seeing as how you were leaving the country soon?

A draft by defintion is not voluntary, first of all. Second I am not shoving this down your throat... it is on my live journal. If you don't like it dont read it. And I have researched my facts... for years now. Why dont you take a gander at what is being brought up to congress in the next year or so. Just because someone says one thing doesn't mean they won't do another. That is called government and politicians.

Oh! and no matter what I am still an American.. I still care what happens to my home country... whether I am hear or not. And I will be on a US military base when I am gone. SO it affects me. Also! I am not the one who had to be coaxed into doing my duty as a citizen and vote.. so again you don't like it don't read it and I suggest if you want to have a pleasant relationship between the two of us that we should no longer discuss politics.

-And how in God's name do you know that Kerry would've done better? He's been hypocritical through the whole campaign (granted all politicians are at some point). There is no way you will ever know that Kerry would not have done the same thing. After all, it was your words that said,"Just because someone says one thing doesn't mean they won't do another."

And lastly, I don't really care if I have a pleasant relationship with you. I mean, we had fun and all but I see why you've lost all your friends in the past. Just add me to that list.

First thing: I would respond to Anjali.. but it is not worth my time. I have good freinds who love me very much. I am not worried about the past or who I used to be. What matters is the now and the future.
