If you're a praying person of any sort, please send up a petition on behalf of my childhood friend, Amy. I just found out, via her husband's Facebook page, that he's signed her into labor & delivery. Seriously--I heard from her recently...her blood pressure is stabilized and the baby looks healthy. The doctors ARE keeping her inpatient for at least two weeks to make sure nothing changes (she wishes she could go home, but...), and if she lasts until then, they'll consider whether to induce and deliver. Since two weeks would mark 34 weeks of pregnancy, they went ahead and gave the baby steroids to help along lung development, and it seems to have worked/to be working.
