I made Demetrius cry today in class. He was very sad because he's getting moved to the other 3rd grade classroom, there's an academic justification for it. But yegods! I felt guilty, perhaps I ought to 've really stood up for the emotional justification instead. . . as the rabbit-man says, emotions affect academic performance
