3 weeks, 6 grad credits, a few awesome new friends and a whole ton of work later, I've finished level 1 Kodaly certification at New England Conservatory and am back in Auburn ( Read more... )

I understand Chris, I really do. It is terrifying, but it also destroys your sanity when you go through this stuff for like.... 19.5 years. Or 42.5 years in my mom's case. So I understand, and I'm here for you if you ever want to talk, for real.

yeah you are def eligible for a stafford loan (i know because my parents make too much money and it screws me over big time as well, so ive only been going to school part time the past couple of years due to lack of money)it should be at least $4000 a semester with subsidized and unsubsidized. it is most likely more because you'll be a junoir this year, correct? you will probably get a bit more.

also call the financial aid office and ask about the perkins loan if you havent yet and you need more money. it only gives you $1000 a semester, but its better than nothing.

It also doesn't help that Maine Colleges have a Very high instate tuition either. And most of Maine is very in debt. blahhhh Stupid college.

I hope your mother has a quick recovery.
