pushing daisies and american dream are some of my favorite shows. and yeah, you're right all the best ones get canceled. anything unique and witty usually just doesn't have a chance. people like the crime procedurals because they don't have to pay attention to the whole episode, you watch the first 5-10 to see the crime, you watch the last 5-10 for the reveal and your tiny little brain isn't taxed too hard. don't get me wrong i like CSI and i watched the original L&O and SVU for many years but what really thrills me are shows like Lost and pushing daisies and fringe. though not all procedurals are bad, shows like NCIS and Bones have only gotten better the longer they are on, though i think that is on the strength of cast chemistry and character development which the L&O's and CSI's of the world don't focus on.

I cannot wait to watch Bones. I added the first season to my queue, but it won't be here for a while. I have to get through the season one of mad men, which I am liking pretty well,then i have like three or four more shows to get through. I added Joan of Arcadia and something else you had mentioned. I basically just listen to your opinion on tv shows and movies, and if you like it or love it I am pretty sure I will too. Maybe you should become a movie/tv show reviewer.
