hi

yeah but you just hold command and click for the other click, only they decided to pander to the pc market and now i its called control. I think apple click gives other options too.

macs are good, they are simple and don't break, they just don't let you get at the stuff that could break them.

film stuff is fun too.

I had my pc half recognising the ipod when I posted this, then I got all bold and tried to view the disk, and froze it, and now I can't for the life of me get it to half recognise it again. So frustrating.

tired, need to sleep.

It's not really the formatting that's the problem. It's the fact that iTunes is a useless fucking bunch of retarded gay. Use ephpod.

I use itunes for burning. It's solid. Shame as soon as you want to use it to play music it flakes... :/

itunes won't recognise my ipod anyway because as i run a windows pc it wants a windows formatted ipod. I'm just stubborn. It was infact my trying to get some other software to work my ipod that caused it's death. I have no real strong opinion either way for it. I don't use my computer all that much to listen to music, i use my cd player, or my ipod if away from home.

I do/did wan't to use ephpod, i even used their discount offer to get mac opener, but it didn't seem to want to work for me.

will try again now my ipod is freshly formatted, hopefully it will be happy now.

i hate software that tries to guess what you want to do.

That is why i want to run linux:) but i'm afraid that it won't help me enough to even get it running:|

he he. You and aj are the only people that I know own macs. by help all i really meant was a mac with ipod software installed that you could let me tinker on for an hour. As it is I got so frustrated I decided I couldn't wait any longer to try and sort it myself so i went to the apple shop today happy to forgo lunch to get it sorted. I didn't have to forgo lunch and the ipod is now working, and comlpetely blank, not my preference of result but one I was prepared for. And... I didn't have to pay a penny. Ithink that was my biggest fear, that they would charge me an unfeasable fee for something which I could probably do myself, with a working computer. i am now happy and will spend the next two days off work filling it back up with better music than i had put on it two years ago.
