Faith

Faith is a supernatural force that can only be given to you by God. You can't conjure it up on your own. You can't gain it by osmosis through other believers. It only comes by asking the Source and then soaking in His truth (whether or not it feels true). Both Romans 10:17 and Colossians 1:5 talk about how faith comes from hearing the Word.

I believe that whenever God gives you any vision or promise or knowledge or revelation... basically whenever He speaks truth to you (through Scripture or through other people, or however He might speak) He also gives you whatever measure of faith you need to hold on to that truth. The trouble is... whenever God gives you something (like faith) that Satan doesn't want you to have, he'll do whatever he can to get you to throw it away. He'll assault your mind with doubt and unbelief. He'll set up circumstances that make God out to be a liar.

The cool thing is that when you find yourself doubting or thinking lies instead of truth, it's not because you don't have faith. Actually it's because you do
