I liked it a lot, even if I am not familiar with the characters, I could see their differences in my mind.

The only thing I can point out is that the very last word in Italic sounds a bit forced. I think it could have a stronger impact if you did not explain the reality of Logan's softness.

I totally agree with you on the ending seeming forced. I had an alternate version that I was debating on, but I ended up choosing this one if only for the fact that I wasn't sure the point I wanted to come across would make it. I may go back and change it now though.
