Thank you! My sister read the first one and felt it stopped short, so I thought about going back and making it longer, but in the end I opted to just keep it the way it is (although that may be out of sheer laziness and have nothing to do with writing :D). I'm glad it worked well even though it's so short. :)

But I'm with Laila on the first. That's fantastic! I think it tells us just enough so that the action and outcome are clear, but holds back enough to let us fill in the gaps. It's fantastically executed.

I thought that they were good but I think that the first one should have been longer. I personally think the second was better.

I appreciate the honesty. I thought the first one was a little too short, too, but I wanted to keep it right at a hundred words exactly, so I had to cut a lot out. I'm glad you enjoyed them, though. :)

Oh, finally, remembered that you'd written Boondock Saints fic. :D I made a sad face when I realized they were drabbles, though. Need something long to distract me. I'm feeling all shippy from a manga I just read, but of course I can only find fic for manga on FFN, which is...torture to read. So I'm attempting to transfer my shippy manga feelings into shippy slash feelings, yay.

The tarnished silver star is theirs for the price of two bullets, and Murphy scrubs the stains off before pinning it to his coat.
