UH. I'll just throw a line saying that I'm totally open for having Ikki go through some crazy solo training since he is a masochist he is pretty curious to see what Yusuke had to go through and he's been looking for other ways to get stronger.

I am definitely all for that! Ikki can approach Genkai anytime about it, or ask Yusuke about it, or something. Either way, she'll train him since she doesn't have much to do on the island. o/
